FileJuggler.online is an independent browser based file organization service. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, associated with, or endorsed by the creators of the File Juggler desktop software.
File Juggler is an existing desktop software product owned by its respective creators. References to File Juggler may appear on FileJuggler.online for descriptive, comparative, or informational purposes, including explaining the type of file organization workflow that users may already recognize.
FileJuggler.online provides its own browser based implementation, design, features, interface, and workflow. The existence of this website should not be interpreted as suggesting that FileJuggler.online is the official web version, online edition, free edition, or replacement service operated by the creators of the File Juggler desktop application.
File organization can change your folder structure
FileJuggler.online can perform operations that may change the location, name, or organization of local files. Depending on the features you use, these operations may include moving files, copying files, renaming files, creating folders, changing file locations, organizing files into category folders, applying bulk file rules, handling filename conflicts, and removing empty folders where supported.
These operations may change how other applications, shortcuts, scripts, projects, or workflows locate those files. Moving a file successfully does not mean that another application using the old path will automatically locate the new file.
Understand the selected scope
You are responsible for choosing which folder FileJuggler.online can access. Selecting a large folder can affect more files than selecting a narrow folder.
Before applying file operations, confirm that the correct folder has been selected. Avoid selecting operating system folders, application installation folders, development environments, active databases, or other sensitive directories unless you fully understand the consequences of reorganizing their contents.
FileJuggler.online cannot determine whether every selected file is safe to move simply because it matches an organization rule.
Always review the preview
FileJuggler.online is designed to show a preview of proposed changes before supported file operations are applied. The preview should be treated as an important safety step.
Review which files are included, which files are excluded, which rules matched, what action will be performed, where files will be moved or copied, how files will be renamed, which folders will be created, and whether conflicts may occur.
If anything in the preview looks unexpected, do not continue until you understand and correct the rule or selected scope. A preview can reduce mistakes, but it cannot guarantee that every operation is appropriate for your personal workflow.
Maintain backups of important files
You should maintain independent backups of important files before performing significant file organization tasks. FileJuggler.online may include safety checks, conflict handling, previews, verification, logs, and limited undo functionality, but these features are not substitutes for a reliable backup.
Important files can include business documents, family photographs, client work, source code, accounting records, project assets, legal documents, original media, research files, archived documents, and any irreplaceable information.
A backup stored separately from the folder being organized provides additional protection if something unexpected happens.
Undo is not guaranteed recovery
Where supported, FileJuggler.online may provide session based undo functionality. Undo is designed as a convenience feature and should not be treated as a complete recovery system.
Undo may depend on the original or destination folder still existing and remaining accessible, files remaining unmodified, browser permissions remaining active, and the browser session remaining open.
Undo may no longer work after the browser tab is closed, the page is refreshed, file paths are changed outside the application, or another application modifies the same files. It also cannot guarantee recovery from storage device failure, file corruption, accidental overwrite, or other problems outside the control of FileJuggler.online.
Browser and session boundaries
FileJuggler.online depends on browser technologies for direct folder access and file operations. Direct folder writing may depend on browser support, HTTPS, user granted permissions, operating system behavior, storage device availability, filesystem restrictions, browser security policies, and file permissions.
Some browsers may allow the informational pages of FileJuggler.online to work normally while preventing direct folder organization. The availability of a website page does not guarantee that every organizer feature will work in every browser.
FileJuggler.online does not claim universal compatibility with every browser, operating system, filesystem, external drive, network location, or device.
FileJuggler.online is an on demand tool
FileJuggler.online is designed to work while you actively use the website. It is not a permanent background file monitoring service.
It does not continue watching folders after the page is closed, does not install a Windows service or system agent, and does not continue organizing files after your browser session ends.
No guarantee of perfect file matching
File organization rules depend on the information and conditions configured by the user. A rule can match more or fewer files than expected.
For example, a filename rule containing the word invoice may match several different files that include that word. A rule based on extension may include every file with that extension, even if some of those files serve a different purpose.
FileJuggler.online does not guarantee that every rule reflects the user's intended meaning. You are responsible for checking the preview before applying any rule.
No content validation
Unless a feature explicitly states otherwise, FileJuggler.online does not verify whether the internal contents of every file are valid.
A file ending in .pdf may be treated as a PDF based on its extension or available metadata, but the tool does not guarantee that the file itself is healthy, complete, or correctly formatted.
The service is not intended to validate file integrity, document authenticity, media quality, archive safety, application compatibility, source code correctness, data accuracy, file ownership, or file legality.
No malware detection
FileJuggler.online is not antivirus or malware detection software. The service does not guarantee that files are safe simply because they can be scanned, moved, copied, renamed, or organized.
A malicious file remains potentially malicious after being moved into another folder. You should use appropriate security software and safe computing practices when dealing with unknown files, executables, downloaded archives, scripts, or other potentially unsafe content.
No file recovery service
FileJuggler.online is not a deleted file recovery utility. It does not scan raw disk sectors for deleted files, repair damaged drives, restore data from physically damaged storage, or provide forensic data recovery.
If important files have been permanently deleted or lost because of hardware failure, you may need dedicated recovery software or professional data recovery services.
No guarantee for external references
Moving or renaming files can affect software that depends on fixed file paths. Examples can include desktop shortcuts, video editing projects, design projects, software configuration files, development projects, scripts, spreadsheets with external references, media libraries, automation workflows, and application settings.
A file operation may complete successfully while another application continues looking for the previous path. FileJuggler.online cannot automatically update every external reference that may depend on a file's old name or location.
Concurrent file changes
Unexpected results may occur if files are modified by other software while FileJuggler.online is processing them. Another application may rename, delete, lock, or update a file while an organization job is running.
Cloud synchronization tools may also modify files or folder states during processing. For safer results, avoid making simultaneous changes to the same files in another application while FileJuggler.online is applying organization operations.
Storage and device limitations
File operations depend on the condition and availability of your local storage. FileJuggler.online cannot control available disk space, storage hardware failures, corrupted filesystems, USB disconnections, external drive interruptions, operating system errors, network drive failures, power interruptions, or browser crashes.
If a storage device becomes unavailable during an operation, processing may stop or complete only partially. You should review affected folders after any interruption.
Partial completion
An organization job containing many files may not always finish completely. If an interruption occurs after some operations have completed, your folder may contain a mixture of organized and unorganized files.
Do not assume that an interrupted operation automatically rolled back every completed action. Review the activity information where available and rescan the selected folder before attempting another large operation.
